A Christian Cowboy’s Journey
I was born in Buffalo, New York, on April 19, 1973, and spent my early years there until we moved to Florida just before I entered eighth grade. I’ve also lived in North Carolina, where my dad was, and I was raised with two brothers and a cousin who’s more like a sister to me.
Life took some unexpected turns. I served in the Navy, but I didn’t stay long. After a rocky time there, I left on an honorable discharge. I made some choices that were not in line with the life I wanted to live, and I’m not proud of everything I did. I spent years lost in sin—drinking, using drugs, and living a life far from God. It’s a miracle I’m here today, but God’s grace has always been on me, even when I didn’t deserve it.
After my divorce, I found myself starting over and stepping out in faith to begin a lawn care business. I was in a rough place, but I began seeking God again. I started reading Christian books on self-development and finally, after years of wandering, I decided it was time to give my life to Christ. In January 2020, I was baptized, and that marked the beginning of a new chapter in my life.
It’s been a journey of transformation—learning, growing, and sometimes struggling. But I’m far from the person I was before. I still face challenges, but with God on my side, I know I’m moving toward something better. Through all the ups and downs, I’ve learned to control myself better, to be more patient, and to love like Jesus. I’m still working on my character every day.
I’m not perfect, and I’ve made plenty of mistakes, but this is my story—a story of redemption, of the power of God’s love, and of a man who refuses to stay stuck in the past. I’m a Christian Cowboy, and I’m living out God’s plan for my life. I’m here to share the Word, to show others that no matter where you’ve been, God’s love will bring you through.
